North Harrison Community Schools – Repave, Seal Coat, Stripe

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project included mass excavation/grading, base rock installation and grading, paving, and striping for the new parking lot in front of the new building addition. The project also included asphalt re-surfacing of the North Harrison campus primary roadway. Demolition of the existing concrete island near the North Harrison Middle School entrance. Crack filling, seal coating, and re-striping of all parking lots as well as the ball field path at the North Harrison campus. Crack filling, seal coating of all three lots at Morgan Elementary.

M. Fine Lot Development

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consisted of excavating and grading the existing topography to install a new parking lot. APC began by installing a compacted stone base for the new parking lot and the alley way behind the parking lot. An electrical conduit and concrete base for new lighting poles were installed, as well as drainage structures and drainage pipes. Some of the existing sidewalk was removed and replaced with new ADA compliant crosswalks. A concrete privacy wall with decorative limestone veneer was built along the perimeter of the lot facing Main Street. A wooden privacy fence was built along the remaining perimeter. APC installed an HMA Base course and HMA Surface course along with a monolithic concrete curb and gutter around the lot. APC added signs and striping to complete the construction of the lot.

Wesley Chapel, Seal-coat/Striping

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consisted of prepping the existing asphalt to apply rubber crack sealant to cracks throughout the parking lot and drive. APC then applied a seal coating to the entire parking lot and drive and re-striped the entire parking lot and drive to the original design. APC installed a 6″ PVC French drain wrapped in Geo-textile fabric to eliminate drainage issues in the SE corner in the rear of the parking lot; as well as repair the existing asphalt in this area.

Vincennes St, Thermoplastic Striping

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consists of thermoplastic striping and road markings along Vincennes St from Main St to Charlestown Rd. We striped all new asphalt including traffic symbols, parking spots, crosswalks, and bike lanes.

C2 Event Center, Site Demo & Lot Remodel

For this project, we performed selective construction and site demo for a new building/event center. The project consisted of sitegrading for building pad, installing irrigation sleeves, sidewalks, curbs, curb ramps, driveway/entrance, wheel stops, signage, asphalt parking lot repairs, sealcoat, and striping.

Chestnut Street, Streetscape

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project included milling and repaving the existing asphalt pavement. We also removed and replaced the concrete sidewalks to redesign the street corner at Chestnut St and Wall St. We then created a curbed bump-out that swells out into the road to form a defined parking area for the nearby residents. This streetscape really enhanced the aesthetic and created a safe area for pedestrians and parked cars.
